Some people thought that Detroit, a city that is bankrupt, might have to sell off the valuable art in its art museum in order to help pay its debts. Detroit will not have to do this after all.

According to the autopsy, Renisha McBride, the 19-year-old killed while seeking help after a car crash in suburban Detroit, did in fact die of a gunshot wound to her face. The shooter still claims he "accidentally" discharged his shotgun because he thought someone was breaking into his home.

Detroit police are looking for a killer who left a woman dead and on fire in her home last weekend on the city's west side. The woman, who was dead when police found her, is the third victim to be found beaten and burned in Detroit since July 26. Authorities are now trying to figure out if they've got a serial attacker on the loose in the Motor City.
