Three people were wounded on Wednesday evening by gunfire at a mall on the east side of Indianapolis, a spokesman for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Polie said. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

The circumstances of the shooting at Washington Square Mall are still under investigation, Reuters reports. The three victims ran through a Target Store and were taken to nearby hospitals.

No one has been arrested yet. From the Indianapolis Star:

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the mall around 6:30 p.m. on reports of numerous people shot.

Police believe a man entered the mall, approached another man he knew and then shot him, said Officer Rafael Diaz, an IMPD spokesman.

Two of the victims were male; one was female. One remained in serious condition about two hours after the shooting.
