More detail on the layoffs at Conde Nast Digital today (which is not an April Fool's joke, okay): was reportedly hit hard. Internal turf war?

SAI says that was "gutted." We've heard the same, although exact numbers are hard to come by (we still hear 20 or so layoffs total). One layoff victim, we hear: managing editor Leander Kahney, who was once mistakenly fingered as the writer behind Fake Steve Jobs, by Nick Denton.
