yes, boys are good. i can tell this one's going to be a handful and he's not even out of the womb yet. it's funny, throughout my life whenever i pictured myself having kids i have always, always pictured myself having girls, but now i have a stepdaughter and part-custody over two goddaughters, so this should be a fun change of pace. anyway, as soon as i felt him start moving around inside me i began dreaming that he was a boy, so as hocus-pocus-y as that sounds, i wasn't surprised at all by the ultrasounds.

he's due in two weeks...pretty sure he's going to be early, though. finding out in the next couple days if my docs are going to insist on a c-section or not. either way, i'm nervous about it. he's my first.

Hey, I didn't see your response because I got sick last night and most of this morning.

I understand your attachment to your SUV, and you can have it. I am also going to go out on a limb and say if you can afford the Lexus SUV, then you can afford the gas price going up.

I've been in that car, and it's not bad, well I'm assuming it's the 300. It's made by Toyota, and they've always been more thoughtful about mileage than most.

I'm always amused by people who like to toss all the things they have to do with their cars, and that's why they "need" it. I'm assuming if the car was stolen tomorrow, your life wouldn't end.

Or not, who am I to judge.
