You're completely right about male sex writers. There's a real lack of non-douchey heterosexual men writing about their own sex lives. I keep trying to persuade my ex to do it but he refuses...
I did post something about it somewhere in that mega thread but it's probably lost around the 400 mark.

Can/would you tell me the advantage of having a Tumblr page/whatever they call it? I have one on Blogger but the whole deal over there is boring as shit and my sense is that nothing happens. I'd like a page where people actually read it.
