Here's the picture I just took of Anderson Cooper on 57th Street, walking, talking and scratching his head.

As you can see, I'm bored today.

And as you can see, we're out of control. We need help.

Earlier: Gawker's coverage of Anderson Cooper.

  • Haven't you invaded his privacy enough? It's not his fault he's so handsome.

  • Alfonso X. Alfonse at 04:31 PM on 04/11/06

Is he carrying a manuscript? Is there an A-Coop book in our future? Hopefully he gets it done before the Rapture, becuase then he'll be whisked up into whatever Lavender Heaven is in store for his angelic mug.

  • Alfonso, didn't he sign a book deal some months back to write about his experiences in New Orleans during Katrina? Either that or they're show notes.

  • Coop's book deal is with HarperCollins, which is on 53rd St...looks manuscripty to me....

  • And given that the book's coming out in May, he damn well better get that manuscript in.... http://www.harpercollins.com/global_scripts/product_catalo...

  • There's this new thing out there, don't know if y'all have heard of it, called Gawker Stalker. It's pretty cool - it's like this map of celebs' whereabouts with fun pictures and everything. Well, this morning one stalker sent in this spectacular sighting, slightly edited for length, which adds one more layer of intrigue to the manuscript/show notes mystery: Apr 11th, 2006 @ 9am Rode the 1 train from 28th-59th with Anderson Cooper. Resplendent in a crisp black suit, white oxford shirt, and plum-colored tie. He studiously plowed through a pile of notes he pulled out of a messenger bag for the duration of the ride. At one point, he looked up from his papers and ever-so-briefly locked those baby blues on me. (Probably sensed me staring at him.) His hair is like silk platinum.

  • I hear he gives good phone.

  • Oh please, he was so waiting to get Galker Stalked with his manuscript in his hand. Free publicity anyone?
